Funda Özdemir received her BSc degree in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University, İstanbul, in 2010 and her MSc and PhD degrees in Mathematics from Sabancı University, İstanbul, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. During her PhD, she stayed in Paris for five months for a research visit at Telecom ParisTech. She has been as a postdoctoral researcher at Sabancı University (2016-2018).
