Yeditepe Architecture Biennial will be held on September 28th. Yasemin Turan, PhD student at İstinye Architecture, will be attending.
Turan, opens a discussion on how the relationship between the identity, history and physical features of the space can be established with in order to tell the story of the space.
"I show the examples on how a new narrative can be presented by combining the space and the work under the curatorship of an architect. An architect positions the space not as an element supporting the work of art, but as a part of the work. This is not just an area where the work is physically placed, but a part of its meaning, and the architect can observe this in more detail."
