Interior Architecture education, which started as Decorative Arts in our country, has become an important branch of science where creative power based on science and technology meets modern technology with its changing and growing needs as well as changing and growing needs. The graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture of the University will be trained as a coordinator with the infrastructure that will be able to evaluate the technology and its products very well and to cooperate closely with other professional branches

For this reason, a coordinated education program will be carried out with the Department of Architecture and a close cooperation with industry representatives and industry will be targeted. In this way, graduates who meet with the sector in the years of education will have access to a wide range of job opportunities. As a result of the rapidly growing construction sector and the rapid growth of rapid urbanization, the construction sector has also led to many specialization areas. After the multi-storey buildings were built as cores and platforms, interior architects stepped into each floor with different functions, and in wide-open structures with shell structure completed, sometimes in personalized designs such as shopping malls, production and industrial buildings, business centers, etc. they work in coordination with other professionals. In general, the location of the technology (air conditioning, heating, lighting, plumbing) elements and the infrastructure design required by the spaces to be constructed are carried out by the relevant professional experts under the supervision of the interior design.

Interior architects have an important place in the production and promotion of mass housing in our country, which has become an important mass housing production center of the Middle East. The design and production of the interior elements used in the housing sector has become a wide industry with our talented interior designers and has outstripped our borders. Industrial furniture design and production is one of the important works of interior architects.

All this is evidence of how well-equipped interior architects should be trained today. The Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Regulatory Department are programmed in the light of these facts
