Pınar Efe, Faculty Member, PhD
Pinar Efe received her bachelor's degree from METU Computer Engineering in 2002. Afterwards she got her master's and PhD degrees in 2006 and in 2015 from the Department of Information Systems at METU Informatics Institute. During her graduate studies, she mainly focused on software project size measurement, software project management, continuous improvement and change. She first started her career as a Software Engineer at Havelsan Ehsim, and then worked for several national and international companies like TÜBİTAK, Siemens, Türk Telekom and McKinsey&Company in different responsibilities ranging from software development to Scrum master, from test engineering to group manager. She was responsible for different projects and programs in Siemens Germany and Turkey offices, and also participated in product management teams. In Turkish Telecom, she was a member of Agile Studio as a trainer and consultant with the aim of rolling out agile methods within the organization. Finally, she was one of the agile consultants in McKinsey & Company Digital team and part of the organizational agile transformations.
